We’re excited to announce Hauora Tū – a new event to collect voices from you as young people about what supports your wellbeing in Ōtautahi schools. The night will action-packed with inspirational speakers, small group discussions, good food and competitions… plus spot prizes of four $50 Westfield vouchers!
When: June 29th
Time: 5 – 7pm
Venue: Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery School – corner of St Asaph and Columbo Streets (opposite the bus exchange)
Cost: Free
Who: Rangatahi 13-25 years of age and their supporters 🙂
Hauora Tū is going to be an evening of storytelling and kōrero to get an insight into how you as rangatahi are coping with the education system – what helps you connect and thrive at school… and also what doesn’t help and you would like to see changed. This will help the Ministry of Education create a user-friendly rangatahi wellbeing survey for schools to use with their students to create schools that help you thrive and flourish.
So grab your mates and sign up below so we know how many to cater for. Any questions contact Ari Dewar mpdewar@gmail.com or Chris Jansen chris@leadershiplab.co.nz
