Ross Denton

"I am fascinated by the complex adaptive systems we live and work in and my passion is supporting leaders to thrive, disparate groups to connect and grow and for communities to find their collective voice."

Engaging, motivating, creating

It’s a long way from being a commercial photographer which is how Ross started his working life.  However, the change from looking curiously at the world through a lens, seeking structure, texture and composition is not that different to seeing an organisation as interconnections, behaviours and culture with all its possibilities.

Ross has a diverse background and worked across multiple industries in different countries.  Around twenty years ago he started looking at organisations as human systems, commenced studies in Canada as a coach and made leadership development the focus of his work.  In 2015 a leadership programme he leads in the health sector Xcelr8, the business of caring, was recognised with both the Prime Minister’s and category award at the public sector IPANZ awards.

More recently it is the collective impact of those that lead that has Ross’ attention.  The fundamentals of leading change are consistent from individual to complex system.  Changing the behaviour of an organisation, shaping how a system connects around a common focus is how we bring meaning and connection to the human systems we live and work in.
