Kath has a high level of integrity grounded in her strong sense of social justice and genuine care for people. Every young person I have met who has been involved with Kath in some way has spoken positively about the way she has made them feel valued and included. Kath will take the time needed as a researcher to bring people along with her, regularly checking that she has understood them correctly, not interpreting their views and experiences for them. While Kath had a way of holding us all to account for making sound decisions and working to a high standard, she also has a great sense of humour, and laughs easily and authentically, making people around her feel at ease
